Dr. Shaz Cheng

Dr. Shaz Cheng is a fully licensed medical doctor from Hong Kong with an affinity for public health, education, and well-balanced living. Shaz worked in the public healthcare system in Hong Kong and served as a front-line doctor during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. She previously co-founded Youth Empact, a platform which seeks to empower, engage, and energise ethnic minority youth in Hong Kong with the skills, support, and opportunities to reach their potential. Shaz believes in the power of coaching and mentorship to instill a passion for learning in young students and help them navigate their academic journey.

As a dedicated proponent of accessible education, Max served as a teaching assistant for mathematics students during his time at university, where he exhibited his passion for nurturing young minds. Proficient in Mandarin Chinese, Max's diverse language skills enable him to connect with people around the world, empowering them to learn and grow in the fields of science, technology, and mathematics.

Jasper Au is a legal and compliance consultant, specialising in private equity and special situations transactions. He has experience in both in-house and private legal practice, as well as in investment operations. He currently represents Hong Kong in field hockey at the international level. Jasper is a believer in the holistic enrichment of young minds. Through encouraging interest in the knowledge building process and participation in extra-curriculars to develop soft skills. The combined equips students with a curiosity towards academics and instils techniques that will be beneficial in their growth in and out of the classroom.
